Greg Jackson
The Marion Harding Drumline would not be the MHDL without Greg Jackson. Greg's name has been attached to anything and everything having to do with drumline over the past few years. Every drummer who has been a part of the MHDL could never say enough good things about Greg. Every year he outdoes himself and puts together another outstanding percussion book for both the indoor and outdoor shows. From Chess, to War on the Floor, to Smooth Criminal, to this year, it is pretty crazy to think one man wrote every one of those shows. Not only is Greg our instructor, he is one hell of a drummer!!! Lessons could not even begin to teach a drummer what Greg could in their drumline career. Every one of us not only looks up to Greg as an instructor, but also as a good friend. Greg has given every drummer at Harding a great taste of what drumline should be like. With many bad ass shows in the past, and more to come, Greg's name will go down in history with the MHDL. Don Gliebe Our newest member to the Marion Harding Drumline staff. Since he began teaching here in August, Mr. Gliebe has been a great asset to the drumline with his help. His knowledge as a drummer has given much advice and help to the drumline. For the 2001 Outdoor season, Mr. Gliebe will head the outdoor drumline. Like Greg, Mr. Gliebe quickly became a familiar face within the MHDL. Don Wolfe The man who has made the Marion Harding Marching Band the great success it is today. Mr. Wolfe has given the Marching Band and music program at Harding a great name with the community. Under his instructing, anything having to do with the Harding music program has been a huge success. Mr. Wolfe has always been there to help with the MHDL. Not only does he construct the props for the indoor shows, he also writes the drill. Like Greg, Mr. Wolfe continues to out do himself year after year. Matt Vitartis Matt instructed the front ensemble for both last year's outdoor and indoor seasons. This will be his second year as instructor for the front ensemble. Matt was a member of the MHDL throughout his high school career, being part of the front ensemble for outdoor and indoor drumline each year. With his great taste in writing music, Matt has assisted in making the MHDL such a successful drumline. Josh Berridge This is Josh's first year instructing the drumline. Josh was a member of the drumline for the past 3 years, playing bass, tenors, and snare. He has been giving up his summer to help make the MHDL a badass drumline. He has defintly been a great help to the drumline, adding his knowledge to help develop the talent in such a young line. Josh has been a great help and will continue to do so during this year's indoor season. Ted Smith This is Ted's first year instructing the drumline. Ted was a member of the drumline for the past two years, playing snare both years. Ted has been helping out with the snareline whenever he gets free time. His instructing has also helped bring out the talent in a young snareline. Like Josh, Ted has been a great help to the drumline and will continue doing so during this year's indoor season.
